From Radio Waves to Cake Bakes: Bettavend Fundraises for All Ages
In the vending business for over 30 years, we’re always keen to support a worthy cause, whether it's on home turf—the south coast—or further afield.
Which is why we have put our vending might behind local Wave 105's Cash for Kids '1000 Faces' and the UK-wide Alzheimer's Society—charities that cover every age range, as dementia can affect younger people, too.
We’re Face 164 in Wave 105’s Cash for Kids radiothon!
Yes, we’ve officially signed up to this initiative that will lighten poverty, support disability and generally improve the quality of life for children and young people throughout the South. Held in partnership with David Gale—The Specialist Orthodontic Referral Centre, all funds raised will stay in this area.
Buy a Kind snack bar—we donate 5p for every purchase
We’ve introduced two award-winning ‘Kind’ snack bar ranges into our vending machines—Dark Chocolate Nuts & Sea Salt and Peanut Butter & Dark Chocolate. They’re nutritious and utterly delicious, and from every sale between now and the end of August we will donate 5p to Cash for Kids.
We’ve also been holding in-house cake sales to help swell the coffers—not so kind on the waistline, but all in a good cause. Permissible indulgence is all the rage in the vending industry!

Cake ‘n’ cuppa—a cash-raising combo for the Alzheimer’s Society
If you’ve got it, flaunt it—and we are more than qualified to plump up funds for the Alzheimer’s Society. Our latest cake bake raised £85, which is a lot of cakes and cuppas, especially for a vending company of just over 30 staff!
